We are a free business networking association that always welcomes guests.
SBNA is in its 6th year and continues to grow.
Our
focus is:
- To help
small business people connect with other small business owners within
a supportive environment.
- To connect
the community to local business owners and their services.
Knowledge
is power and SBNA members are knowledgeable!
SBNA
networking meetings:
Who:
Business owners in the Barrie, Ontario and surrounding area
What: Business
Networking
Where: Barrie
Public Library, 60 Worsley St.
When: Thursdays
9:15 am - 10:15 am
Why:
The focus is to have a place to connect with other business owners to
discuss business issues and find solutions. Our format allows each person
to give a business introduction to the group. We want to know who you
are and what you do. We include a sales and marketing presentation, open
discussion period, guest speakers, time to network, ask for referrals
and share successes.
If you're contemplating starting your own business or are currently in
business, take one-hour out of your work week to attend a supportive venue
that just may assist you in the future success of your business.
SBNA was
created in 2002 by a handful of small businesses that were part of The
Self-Employment Assistance (SEA) Program in Barrie, ON, Canada. Founder
Lorraine Rice, BOSS Technologies, and Katie Whissel, Accord Media lead
the group.
