SBNA Business Directory Membership

SBNA Membership is open to all small business people who take the time to network by attending at least one of our meetings and is also open to members of SEA and/or Go Venture.

SBNA is a place where people in small business or thinking about getting into small business come together once a week to share tips, tricks and resources. The format is a 60-second infomercial; a guest speaker and/or sales and marketing tip and then open discussion, where those in attendance can find solutions to day-to-day issues small business people face at a cost effective price – one hour, once a week.

Benefits:

SBNA’s website is home to over 500 small businesses and growing. The website receives 50,000 hits a month and it is the first link on the City of Barrie’s Economic Development website.

There are two types of membership – Basic and Enhanced – as well as Advertising Opportunities.

Enhanced SBNA Membership and Benefits:

Requirements:

• Attend a SBNA meeting or
• Been a participant in The Go Venture Program
• or been a participant in the SEA program in Barrie Ontario

The Enhanced membership is an annual cost of $25 plus GST, for a total of $26.25. Existing members who have the basic membership can upgrade to the Enhanced Membership online. That’s an advertising business expense of 8 cents a day!

This membership level provides members with:

- A secure login so that you control your listing making changes whenever you want, and as many times as you want, without incurring an additional cost

- Ability to list, logo, tag line or other headline, business name, phone number, toll free number, cell number, fax number, website and email address

- Business description area has been increased to 5,000 characters

- Access to SBNA’s Yahoo Group mailing list 24/7, 365 days of the year
